General trip description: Manila is the capital city of the Philippines, and while it has many Western influences, it could be described as a "first world" city" in a "third world" nation. The population of metro Manila is about 20 million people, five million of which are children under the age of ten. Teams will be involved in campus ministry outreach, evangelistic meetings, student center work, feeding centers, drama, puppets, and children's ministry outreach. The ministry dates above include one week of team training in advance of the trip and one day of debriefing and testimonies after returning to the States.
